Role at CSBM
As CFO, Sharon is primarily responsible for the financial management of CSBM.
Sharon also currently works with over 30 charter schools and support organizations, specializing in financial policies and procedures, audit preparation, and management company transitions, as well as special projects such as compensation studies and financial and operational assessments. Recently, Sharon acquired a Chartered Global Management Designation, considered to be the highest management accountant designation in the US. Sharon was recognized as SmartCEO Magazine’s “Accountant of the Year” in 2014 as well as one of Diversity Journal’s 2014 Women Worth Watching.
Prior Experience
Sharon has over twenty-five years of accounting, auditing and financial management experience in both the public and private sectors. She is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York and a member of the American Institute and New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
