The 2026 New York Charter Schools Conference brought together school leaders, education professionals, and partners from across the state for an opportunity to connect, exchange ideas, and celebrate the charter school community.

CSBM was pleased to participate in this year’s conference, continuing our commitment to building strong relationships with the schools and organizations we serve.

CSBM President & COO Karen Daniels attended the conference, engaging with clients, colleagues, and fellow education leaders in conversations about the opportunities and challenges facing New York’s charter schools. These face-to-face interactions are especially valuable, allowing us to strengthen existing partnerships and gain additional perspectives on the evolving needs of the schools we support.

Continuing the Connections After Hours

The conversations continued beyond the conference sessions as CSBM hosted a happy hour at The Foundry Bar in New York City.

Karen was joined by CSBM Founder & CEO Raj Thakkar and Chief Growth Officer Steve Reid for a relaxed evening of reconnecting with longtime colleagues, strengthening partnerships, and making new connections within the New York charter school community.

The gathering provided a welcome opportunity to step away from busy schedules, catch up with familiar faces, and enjoy time together outside the usual work environment.

Looking Ahead

Thank you to the New York Charter Schools Association for bringing the charter school community together and to everyone who joined us during the conference and at our after-hours gathering.

We value the relationships we’ve built throughout New York and look forward to continuing to support the important work of charter schools across the state.
