As a Senior Financial Manager, Sandy supports clients with reviewing monthly and quarterly closes, providing financial reporting to client leadership, and serving as the internal and external point of escalation for the client team. They also support clients by functioning as the liaison between the client and audit firm during the yearly audit process.
Prior Experience
Sandy began her accounting career in public accounting, gaining valuable experience in tax and client services. After moving to Hawaii in 2014, she discovered her passion for the non-profit sector and became the Accounting Manager for The Arc in Hawaii, where she also became an expert in Sage Intacct. Sandy spent nearly two years as a Customer Success Advocate for Sage Intacct before returning to hands-on accounting as a Controller for a large road construction firm. She has since transitioned back to the non-profit space, where she loves helping organizations strengthen their financial practices.
